OUR POLITICAL APPROACH

F.O.R.G.E. America is grounded in a clear understanding of how politics actually works. We do not operate on the assumption that elected officials will automatically support fathers and justice-impacted individuals after an election. Experience shows that promises made on the campaign trail often disappear once the votes are counted. For that reason, FORGE believes victory must be secured on the front end—before Election Day.

We focus our advocacy, voter education, and political pressure where it matters most:

  • Statewide primary elections

  • Contested races where turnout determines outcomes

  • True battleground states where margins are narrow, and voices matter.

Primaries decide who appears on the ballot. Battleground states decide who governs. FORGE concentrates its efforts where leverage is real—not symbolic.

Our strategy is simple:

  • Educate voters before candidates are chosen.

  • Apply pressure before positions harden

  • Hold candidates accountable before they take office.

F.O.R.G.E. does not chase political access. We build political influence.

American Flag Pole

F.O.R.G.E America operates where elections are actually decided.

01

Where FORGE Focuses

FORGE prioritizes open primaries, particularly in solid red and solid blue states, where the winner of the primary is effectively the winner of the seat.

FORGE also engages heavily in true battleground states, where 100,000 votes or fewer determine the outcome of statewide and national elections.

These are the environments where influence matters, and leverage is real.

02

How FORGE Engages

FORGE relationships are transactional, not trust-based, and are built on front-end action—not post-election promises.

Our political engagement is centered on:

  • Voter engagement

  • Voter turnout

  • Direct messaging

FORGE supporters do not vote based on party loyalty or personal preference. They vote for candidates who engage FORGE and commit to its priorities.

FORGE is made up of:

  • Fathers

  • Individuals with felony convictions

  • Individuals who owe child support

Our members include Independents, Democrats, Republicans, and individuals who do not normally vote due to deep distrust of government—but will vote for candidates who support FORGE.

FORGE is not partisan. FORGE is interest-driven.

The FORGE Responsibility Model

Membership in FORGE carries responsibility. There are no excuses.

Every member is expected to act according to their situation:

  • If you are eligible to vote:
You vote in alignment with the FORGE lineup.

  • If you are not eligible to vote:
You are responsible for five individuals who love you and will vote on your behalf.
Each member must personally transport those five individuals to the polls and provide them with the FORGE lineup.

  • If you owe child support:
You must recruit 20 individuals to sign up for FORGE and personally take 10 of them to vote for the FORGE lineup.

If you are incarcerated:
You must secure 10 individuals who sign up for FORGE, stating they support you and will vote in alignment with FORGE priorities.

The Standard

FORGE does not measure power by opinions. We measure power by organization and turnout. Membership has its privileges, because membership carries responsibility.
